Jesse started dabbling with Buddhism in 1993 and started practicing (well…trying to practice) in 2002. In that time he he was fortunate to have received teachings from numerous teachers in various traditions (Tendai-mikkyo, Shugendo, Chan, Zen, Kagyu). He met his root teacher and mentor, Younge Khachab Rinpoche in 2013. Since then, centering his practice in the Tibetan Ngakpa tradition of the Nyingma lineage, and keeping with his teachers Rimé (non-sectarian) tradition, Jesse continues to study with his teacher as well as seeking additional dialogue and teachings from other Dharma traditions, teachers and practitioners…and mindful movement practices.
