This Monday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 pm we will observe Fusatsu, the ceremony of atonement and renewal of vows, during the full blue supermoon.
There will be a 20 minute period of zazen beginning at 5 pm PDT/8 pm EDT, followed by 5 minutes of kinhin. A short dharma talk follows at 5:25 pm PST/8:25 PST and then Fusatsu. The liturgy is attached. The dharma talk will focus on the fourth and final vow of the Four Bodhisattva Vows: “The Buddha way is unsurpassable; I vow to attain it.”
