Lucid Dreaming and Dream Yoga Weekend Retreat
Imminent Buddhist scholar and author, B. Alan Wallace, PhD, returns to the Rime Center Feb. 6–8 for a weekend retreat on lucid dreaming and dream yoga.
Dates & Times: Friday, Feb. 6, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m.-noon and 2–4 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 8, 10:30 a.m. – Dharma talk
Fees: $140 in advance or $160 at the door.
Fees include both morning and afternoon sessions. Retreatants may spend the night at the Rime Center at a cost of $25 per night, however, no meals will be provided.

Lama Lodu Rinpoche Retreat & Chenrezig Empowerment April 24 - 26
Lama Lodru Rinpoche was appointed resident lama of Kagyu Droden Kunchab in San Francisco in 1976 by His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa and His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche. He was born in Sikkim in 1942 into a Tibetan family. His grandfather, Lama Wongten, was held in very high esteem throughout the region as a yogi and general practitioner of the Dharma. Lama Lodru completed his preliminary training and education at the monasteries of His Holiness the Karmapa and His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche. He also studied and trained under the great yogi Drupon Tenzin Rinpoche and His Eminence Thrangu Rinpoche. Lama completed the traditional three-year retreat under H.E. Kalu Rinpoche, and then spent a period of time leading isolated retreats. He then went to Kalu Rinpoche's monastery in Sonada and served for seven years as puja master. Lama taught for two years at various European centers before founding Kagyu Droden Kunchab Buddhist Center located in San Francisco.
Rinpoche will confer the Chenrezig empowerment along with instructions on how to do the sadhana practice.
